Teo) across from the national school in Lettermullen,
Co Galway. Live music was included.

Mairéad
Agus An Foghlaí Mara (Mairéad
and the Pirate)
Máiréad
is teased by the school bully for being disabled
and she dreads going to school. She gets some
unexpected help from gigantic pirate (and his
talking parrot!) who helps her believe in herself,
overcome her disability and let her see herself
as the strong, bright little girl that she is.
Níl
na cosa ag obair go rómhaith ag Máiréad
agus tá drogall uirthi aghaidh a thabhairt
ar an scoil agus go háirithe ar Scútar
Ó Donnabháin a bhíonn de
shíor ag magadh fúithi. Ach tagann
cara nua an-speisialta ar cuairt chuici a spreagann
í chun aghaidh a thabhairt ar an saol agus
a cuid buanna a léiriú do chách.
Below
are a few 4 illustrations from the book. In the
actual book there will 18 illustrations within
the cover.
